About Garren
I was born and raised in Hillsboro, Oregon, just outside of Portland. A lifelong athlete, I grew up playing about any sport you can imagine. Today, I enjoy golf, disc golf and weight lifting. I have also played percussion most of my life, having performed and competed in marching band as well as on stage as a musician. As someone who has struggled with performance anxiety and performing under pressure, I understand just how important the mental aspects of performing your best are.
I have been working with people to help them improve, grow and perform most of my life. As a strength and conditioning professional for many years, I have trained athletes of all ages and backgrounds. My personal history with performance and passion for psychology drove me to pursue sport and performance psychology, a field in which I have been able to continue working with athletes and performers of all experience levels and from diverse backgrounds. I am grateful for the continued opportunity to help others grow and develop as they pursue their passions, and I am dedicated to continuing my own development as a coach and applying my experience and expertise to my clients.
